We are pleased to let our working parents know that the Alberta Government launched the Working Parents Benefit. Eligible parents will receive a one-time benefit of $561 per child. The government acknowledges that child care is an essential part of our economic recovery and this benefit is meant to help ease some of the pressure working parents have been feeling throughout the pandemic.
We encourage you to review the attached eligibility letter or visit the website at Alberta.ca/WorkingParentsBenefit to learn more about the benefit and confirm you are eligible to apply. This fact sheet may also be of assistance. Or apply here if you're ready!
Eligible parents have until March 31, 2021 to apply and must be claimed online. Please don't delay and miss out!
