The Cornerstone Kids love to build and create. As educators, it is very important to us to encourage their artistic growth.
With the Reuse Centre being closed due to Covid-19, we are running low on the materials they would normally use to create their masterpieces. We would love your help to provide them with a variety or recyclable and reusable materials to spark their imagination. If you are trying to “declutter” or want to save yourselves a trip to the recycling station, we will gladly accept the following items:
- Styrofoam balls, squares
- Small boxes (ie. jewelry boxes)
- Small decorative gems & rocks
- Artificial plants & flowers
- Fabric pieces
- Small pieces of wood
- Tiles (ceramic, wood, laminate)
- Glass jars
- Paper towel and toilet rolls
- Plastic trays for sorting art supplies on tables
- Corks, bottle caps, springs, screws, other small miscellaneous items
- Old button-up work shirts to use as paint smocks
- Craft supplies (pompoms, beads, felt, foam, paint, etc.)
Thank you for helping us facilitate your children's creative growth!
